Can you See?

The mystery of fog.

Even though I stand on my driveway most every day and know what is there, the fog adds a little suspicion.

Today was an exceptionally foggy day, especially for Texas. The weather man said some places had zero miles visibility. I could’t help but grab my camera. Even though I could hear people, I couldn’t see anyone. I could barely make out the trees.

Those trees are about the length of a football from the end of our driveway.

Another Demolition

Well, another landmark(kinda) bites the dust.

One of my favorite Mexican Food places is being demolished. The formerly known as Mex-I-Go/Don Pepe’s Rancho Mexican Cafe is being torn down to make way for a Chick-fil-a.

It’s sad to see it go, but they are moving a little further down the street and plans to open at the end of January.

It will be another mile for us to drive. Hmmm, another mile. It is good food though!!

Not so Clear Blue Sky

Yesterday morning was a nice and crisp so I stepped out on the driveway. The birds were chirping and flying around. As I looked up towards the heavens, I noticed the crisscrossing contrails of the high flying jets along with the Cirrocumulus clouds.

This was at about 7:15 am. These folks must have gotten up real early!
