Sunrise, Sunflowers, and Spider Webs

While I was out for my morning walk, I noticed the sunflowers with the sunrise hitting them during the golden hour. As I looked closer, I could see one with a string of spider webs.

I couldn’t find the spider but it could have been a worm too. Lucky or unlucky?

Poppies in the park

Social distancing is still in effect, with good reason, but I went to a park to make some pictures. The wildflowers are blooming in Texas and the weather was nice. I went early in the morning, I figured no one would be at this little area.

It was a very nice day but these flowers move so easily with the slightest breeze. The bees were a bonus.

Texas Bluebonnets

Spring has sprung in Texas when you see the Bluebonnets on the sides of the road and in the open fields.

Even with the crazy Coronavirus, there is beauty to be found by “Social Distancing”. With everyone staying indoors and apart, I went to get a few pictures of this Bluebonnet field in Richardson. While I did see some people, they were at least 40 feet away or further.

The Bee’s were buzzing!

Yellow, Blue make Green. God’s complementary colors.

Stay safe!

Daily Walk

Most days at lunch, I take a walk around the neighborhood. Partially for exercise and partially for photos. Sometimes I find a photo here and there that I have not seen before, even though my path is generally the same.

The sun was hitting this prickly pear just right to make in look intimidating. I remember as a kid getting stuck with these things. Not fun!

Zebadiah Duck – Day 25

30-30-1 Project Day 25

Since Zebadiah and Adriana finally met each other, they are almost inseparable. When you see one, the other is not far away.

They have taken many long walks, rubber wing in rubber wing. Waddling across the walkway, they stop to see the yellow wildflowers in the open lots behind the park. Adriana and Zeb are partial to the yellow flowers since many of their friends and relatives in the rubber duck heritage are yellow.

Adriana and Zeb are both glad they share many of the same interests like Family, Friends, Cycling, Antiquing, Traveling, and Food.

We never know what lies ahead in life. Live good, laugh, be kind, go to church, are all things that their mother’s used to say.

Zebadiah Duck – Day 24

30-30-1 Project Day 24

Zebadiah saw the pink duck during the Easter Egg hunt Sunday afternoon. Today saw her again and wants to talk to her if he can muster up the nerve. Zeb knows there are more ducks around, but she caught his eye earlier in his life and has been trying to find her ever since.

Her name is Adriana. Zeb finally got up his nerve to talk to her and they hit it off. She was elated as well, because she likes him too! Today they walked around the park behind the house. Zebadiah wanted to show her the wildflowers, clover and the creek. They were not ready to take a dip in the cool water yet, but maybe next time.

Zeb feels like it was meant to be. Adriana is happy she found Zeb too! Everyone has a soulmate. Sometimes they are hard to find.

Zebadiah Duck – Day 22

30-30-1 Project Day 22

On the road trip to Canyon Lake over the weekend, Zebadiah saw many pretty wildflowers along the road. Once we got to Canyon Lake he had to venture out to see them.

The Bluebonnets were already turning to seed and the mowers had cut some of them down, but the yellow wildflowers were everywhere making a very pretty drive. Wild Verbena was growing adding some purple hues along the way.

Zeb is partial to the yellow flowers because most of his relatives are yellow.
