I shot this after a rain last weekend. The underside was just as pretty as the front.

Peace. Stay Safe!
Last weekend I got my wife some flowers for Mother’s Day. Saturday it was raining all day so the flowers called me.
The background is a blurred photo of our shower curtain.

The title may sound funny, coming from a grown man, but since I received my Lensbaby Sweet35, it seems like I play a lot with flowers.
This one is from our garden.

Social distancing is still in effect, with good reason, but I went to a park to make some pictures. The wildflowers are blooming in Texas and the weather was nice. I went early in the morning, I figured no one would be at this little area.
It was a very nice day but these flowers move so easily with the slightest breeze. The bees were a bonus.
A few months ago on a quick trip to Abilene, Texas, we stopped at a roadside park as nature called. The park was landscaped nicely so, while waiting, I grabbed my camera.
I am not sure what variety of flower this is but the sun shining through the petals made a nice shot.

It seems like I tend to take a lot of pictures of flowers. This is no exception. As I was sitting on the back porch one Saturday afternoon, the sun was shining through the back of this Hibiscus flower.
It may make it to a printed photo one of these days!
Most days I take a walk around the neighborhood and most days I carry some type of camera, be it phone or DSLR.
This little flower caught my eye and of course my camera!

I took this picture a few weeks ago of a Peace Lily on our back porch. I’m trying my hand at selective soft focus. Abstract if you will.
30-30-1 Project Day 25
Since Zebadiah and Adriana finally met each other, they are almost inseparable. When you see one, the other is not far away.
They have taken many long walks, rubber wing in rubber wing. Waddling across the walkway, they stop to see the yellow wildflowers in the open lots behind the park. Adriana and Zeb are partial to the yellow flowers since many of their friends and relatives in the rubber duck heritage are yellow.
Adriana and Zeb are both glad they share many of the same interests like Family, Friends, Cycling, Antiquing, Traveling, and Food.
We never know what lies ahead in life. Live good, laugh, be kind, go to church, are all things that their mother’s used to say.
