Texas Tech High and Dry

I entered the Texas Tech University Office of International Affairs High and Dry photo contest again this year. I am proud to say one of my photos was selected for the exhibit.

I named it “Three Trees Top”. I’ll know the results later this month.

Sunrise, Sunflowers, and Spider Webs

While I was out for my morning walk, I noticed the sunflowers with the sunrise hitting them during the golden hour. As I looked closer, I could see one with a string of spider webs.

I couldn’t find the spider but it could have been a worm too. Lucky or unlucky?

I’ll admit I don’t really like flying, but it would be nice to be able to go somewhere. I took this iPhone picture of the Hoover Dam last December coming back from Las Vegas.
