Last weekend I got my wife some flowers for Mother’s Day. Saturday it was raining all day so the flowers called me.

Social distancing is still in effect, with good reason, but I went to a park to make some pictures. The wildflowers are blooming in Texas and the weather was nice. I went early in the morning, I figured no one would be at this little area.



It was a very nice day but these flowers move so easily with the slightest breeze. The bees were a bonus.

Zebadiah had to go see what all the noise was about. He thought it was pretty cool.

He said he should have told Adriana’s sister, Adalyn, but she would have tried to go to the top!

I was looking back through some of my old pictures I took with my first digital camera and came across this one. It turned out to be a “Happy Accident” abstract.
The colors are balloons from the fourth of July at a local Minor league baseball game before the firework show.

Living in the city has it’s advantages, except for traffic, and skylines among a few other things.
I have to be selective when I take pictures of a nice sunrise or sunset to avoid all the other stuff around. It takes about an hour to drive somewhere else to see the horizon.
But sometimes…

I took this picture from the glass door in our living room of my 95 year old Mother-in-Law creating her art work. She has a creative side and can arrange flowers like they came from a florist.
